Food is my passion and the love started when my family moved out of the country during high school and I stayed behind to finish school.I missed my mom’s home cooking and started trying making her food at home, and I fell in love with food, from there I started exploring other cuisines and recipes!I
From a Gas Station to a Flavor Revolution
I started Aljoom’s bbq in 2015 because I’ve always wanted to try American bbq but there was no halal options, so I decided to start the first one in Michigan, and maybe America!I started in River rouge inside the back of a gas station and it was an instant success! in 2019 I bought Burger Shack in Dearborn Heights and added my bbq menu and re invented it, I pride myself in serving good food with good intentions, I believe in serving food the way I would eat it and never cutting corners!
